About La Petite Provence

After many years as an export sales manager in France and Belgium, and French teacher at IBC – The international Business College in Kolding, the proprietor Vivi Bjerg Viuff decided to create a French Oasis at the family estate Houens Odde Gaard near Kolding in Denmark. The family estate was acquired in 1999 and ever since it has  been turned into a memorable place in the midst of nature.

In 2007 Vivi Bjerg Viuff started up business by importing a few products from Provence, and, today, La Petite Provence has turned into a 500m2 boutique representing Provence life-style products for all purposes – among others food and wine, confiseries and biscuits, body care and in-door/out-door decoration. The close Danish/French business relations are based on reliability and mutual respect, thus creating an availability of original and genuine products from Provence suppliers solidly rooted in the proud traditions of the South of France.

Thanks to the close collaboration with our first-class suppliers, our customers are used to products of high standards – and appreciate our advice and guidance, whether or not it is a question of indoor decoration or the preparation of a delicious meal.

Houens Odde Gaard also houses the “Salon de Provence”, a rustique meeting room where people meet to taste the gourmand products, based on traditional recipes from the South of France.
